Jennifer Lawrence had a tattoo fail, and totally admitted to it during a recent interview! While at Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend, JLaw was asked about her most recent tattoo (which she reportedly got last summer), and why she decided to get it. According to Fox News , the Hunger Games actress said that she got the ink while with Liam Hemsworth and his family, and it was kind of on a whim. She didn’t put too much thought into it, and decided to get “ H2O ” tattooed on her body.
“I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion. I was with Liam’s family and everybody was getting tattoos. And I was like, ‘Well, I’m always going to need to be hydrated.’ So I guess I should just get H2O on my hand,” Lawrence explained.
Jennifer Lawrence then explained the tattoo fail. The tattoo is supposed to be the chemical formula for water, which is a capital “H,” the number “2,” and a capital “O.” The number “2” is supposed to be lower than the two consonants that flank it… but on Jennifer’s hand, the “2” is up high.

“By the way, I know the ‘2’ is high, and in H2O the ‘2’ is supposed to be low. I should have Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body,” Lawrence said.
According to Mail Online , Lawrence also chose to get the tattoo in the “color of a scar,” which makes it hard to see. Given the mistake, maybe that’s a good thing…
“It’s the color of a scar, all natural so it’s literally the most unrebellious tattoo that anybody could ever get,” she said. JLaw wasn’t shy about the ink at all, and held up her hand to show the media. Mistake or not, the tattoo does have a bit of a story, and she has memories that go along with it, which makes it special to her.
Aside from Jennifer Lawrence’s tattoo fail, people were talking about her style at last week’s event. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , JLaw showed off her incredible figure in a few head-turning outfits. From a sexy white mini-dress to a black cut-out maxi, Jennifer looked great from dinner parties to press panels. She was spotted at the X:Men Apocalypse expo, and was also on the panel for Mockingjay Part 2.
