Jennifer Lawrence thinks Fashion Police promotes “all the wrong values” and gives women unrealistic expectations of what their bodies should look like.

The E! series features hosts Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic, Joan Rivers, and George Kotsiopoulos commenting on celebrity fashions.

“There are shows like Fashion Police that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on all the wrong values and that it’s okay to point at people and call them ugly or fat,” Lawrence said in a Q&A with Yahoo . “They call it ‘fun’ and they say ‘welcome to the real world’ – and that shouldn’t be the real world.”

The 23-year-old is no stranger to being criticized for her weight. In the December 2012 issue of Elle magazine , Lawrence said, “In Hollywood, I’m obese. I’m considered a fat actress.” Most recently, Lawrence told Harper’s Bazaar U.K. that she was called fat early in her career and that she would get fired if she “didn’t lose a certain amount of weight.”

Jennifer Lawrence said she has her own insecurities about how she is perceived.

“I worry about – now we’re getting deep into my insecurities – I worry that people are so fickle that people will start hating what I hate about myself,” she said. “That I’m going to be really annoying and everybody’s just going to want me to shut up.”

The Academy Award winner recently made headlines after she unveiled a new pixie haircut. An insider close to Lawrence told Us Weekly, “It’s short and drastic.”

Another insider described the haircut as “kind of a punk pixie cut that has a few longer pieces on one side but is shorter everywhere else.” The insider also said that Lawrence has been wearing wigs to film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 .

Jennifer Lawrence stars in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , which hits theaters November 22. The third film, Mockingjay – Part 1 , will be released November 21, 2014, and the second part will be released November 20, 2015.

Lawrence also stars in X-Men: Days of Future Past , which is set for a May 23, 2014.
