Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult have decided to go their separate ways yet again, and it looks like Kristen Stewart just might be mending Hoult’s broken heart.
A source told E! News that Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s breakup “was very amicable” and that the couple just couldn’t make things work because of their busy work schedules.
Right now, Nicholas Hoult’s work schedule includes spending plenty of time with Kristen Stewart, an actress who is often painted as Jennifer Lawrence’s rival. However, Jennifer has actually said that she considers Kristen a friend and that she finds the rival rumors “hilarious.”
But Jennifer Lawrence might not be laughing when she sees photos of Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult out on a sushi date. According to the New York Daily News , Twitter user @turducken09 photographed the couple grabbing a bite to eat at Tsukiji Market in Tokyo. They’re currently in Japan to film director Drake Doremus’ romantic movie Equals .

Because Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult have a work-related reason to be together, it’s entirely possible that Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t have to worry about K-Stew moving in on her ex-boyfriend.
Stewart and Hoult are together in a foreign country where they only know the people they’re working with, so it’s not that weird that they went to get lunch together. And as The Inquisitr previously reported, Nicholas might already be dating Kristen look-alike Riley Keough . He and the Magic Mike actress were recently spotted looking pretty cozy at No. 8?s Philo Prom in New York City.
According to the Boston Herald , Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult recently talked to the press at a Tokyo hotel. When Kristen was asked about her feelings for her Equals co-star , she jokingly responded, “I can’t stand him.” However, Jennifer Lawrence’s ex had a lot more to say about Kristen.
“It’s always a weird position to be put in any film where the director chooses two people and is saying ‘Hey, potentially in this world I’m creating you two could fall in love.’ Sometimes [this kind of situation] feels forced and tricky and awkward, but the kind of environment Drake created was straight forward and easy. Kirsten is a great actress and that just makes it very relaxed and my job very easy.”
Maybe Nicholas Hoult is saying that Kristen Stewart makes his job easy because he doesn’t have to fake falling in love with her.
If Kristen Stewart is dating Jennifer Lawrence’s ex, she certainly has a type: pale British costars who play undead characters (Robert Pattinson was a vampire in Twilight ; Nicholas Hoult was a zombie in Warm Bodies ). In Equals , she and Hoult play people living in a futuristic Utopian society where all emotions have been eliminated.
However, their peaceful world is threatened when a “disease” called SOS (Switch On Syndrome) afflicts some members of the society. Those affected start to feel emotions once again and are exiled. Hoult and Stewart play two SOS sufferers who fall in love and try to escape.
Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult seemed like they were headed for a breakup when J-Law said that they “mutually ignore each other” while they’re working on separate projects (this just doesn’t sound like a healthy way to keep the love alive). However, right now Hoult is spending time with a beautiful co-star who he can’t ignore.
