It has been over a year since the high-profile split between star couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, yet even with the latest A-list couple split involving Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Jen and Ben continue to be a prime focus for the rumor mill.
Although the former couple continue to co-parent and reside on the same property, the two have made it clear that they are not reuniting, despite rumors that have stated otherwise. A family getaway to Europe earlier this year had fans hopeful for a reunion after Jen and Ben were caught being affectionate towards one another. It is, however, a given that being loving towards each other after 10 years together simply comes naturally, regardless of whether they are separated. The two have each spoken highly about one another and remain on amicable terms.

It was most evident that Garner and Affleck maintain an undeniable love for one another when Garner finally broke her silence regarding the split in an interview with Vanity Fair , earlier this year. She shared the reasons she loves Ben so much and why the marriage had to come to a close.
“I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy. I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it.’ But when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”
In most recent news, Jennifer Garner has commented that she and Ben are “doing really well” despite the split, as the Daily Mail notes. The former couple are often seen out and about running errands and heading for meals together, yet this week Garner and Affleck each looked content separately going about their business in Los Angeles within the Brentwood area.

However, a new rumor has surfaced involving Ben’s mother, who is anxious to see her son and Jen reunite and call off the divorce. Christine Boldt is reportedly pleading with the former couple to “make the marriage work,” according to the publication. Boldt allegedly is worried for her son and concerned that he may lose his focus without Jen and his family to ground him.
There are likely many people within the lives of the couple who are hoping for a reunion and for the two to call off the divorce. Rumors have swirled on constantly about the pair, from the nanny scandal which started a media firestorm late last year to the allegation that Jen was expecting a fourth child with Ben- all have turned out to be false. This latest rumor is no different. The celebrity gossip policing site, Gossip Cop , has done the dirty work and gotten to the bottom of this latest claim, noting that Affleck’s mother is not begging Jen to reconsider.
The publication relays the truth of the matter.
