Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding bells are ringing. As the highly anticipated date nears, the billionaire prepares a watertight prenup, as he refuses to gamble with his massive fortune.
A high-profile lawyer has claimed that the agreement is being designed in a way to “survive any legal challenge.”
Alphonse Provinziano, a prominent California lawyer, was the first to reveal the prenup between Bezos and Sanchez. While speaking about the robust agreement, the attorney, who regularly works with numerous A-listers and celebrities, claimed that it is more complex than most business mergers. He added that the Amazon founder didn’t emphasize creating just a simple prenup but was actually keen on designing it in a way that would “survive any legal complexities,” reports Radar Online, in its exclusive report.
Certain states in America mandate “conscionable” prenups to allow fairness to both parties. It also comes in handy in proving essential to the side with fewer resources, which is Lauren Sanchez in this case. Bezos was very careful and diligent while designing this agreement with his fiance.
According to the lawyer, Bezos helped provide facilities to Sanchez, such as her own legal team. He was also okay with giving her more than enough time to assess and analyze the document before signing it.
Alphonse stated that Jeff Bezos was under an obligation to maintain full disclosure about his wealth with his would-be bride. “For someone as rich as Bezos, that means preparing documentation of the complex accounting arrangements and business deals he’s involved in,” the lawyer stated.

He explained that the full disclosure would help prevent absurd rumors that Bezos intended to “hide certain assets” from his fiancé in case their marriage went wrong. “[It has been] a lot of work for teams of lawyers,” said Provenzano.
Meanwhile, the high-profile couple is set to tie the knot this month. They will host a three-day-long lavish ceremony from June 24 to 26 in Venice. Speaking about the preparations for this extravagant ceremony, a source claimed, “People are almost hysterical with excitement – from water taxis to the hotel concierges.”
Although the guest list is yet to be revealed, we can only assume that only A-listers, celebrities, and wealthy people will attend the nuptials. The Kardashian-Jenners are also expected to come out with their best fashionable selves. Bezos and Sanchez’s wedding ceremony will reportedly be held at an ancient Italian villa.
According to the New York Post, the wedding will cost only $9.5 to 11 million, as the couple plans on keeping it super intimate. Apart from the Kardashian and Jenners, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Katy Perry and Orland Bloom will also reportedly be at the event.
Bezos is not interested in gambling with his fortune if his marriage with Lauren goes south.
