With many political pundits and speculators expecting to a possible presidential run, Former Republican Governor Jeb Bush launched a new fund-raising organization called the “Right To Rise PAC” via his official Facebook and Instagram pages. The phrase “Right To Rise” was coined by Jeb Bush in an op-ed piece for the Wall Street Journal in 2011.

Jeb Bush posted two short videos, one in English and another in Spanish, describing that the PAC “will support candidates that support conservative principles to allow all Americans to rise up.” The group’s website, righttorisepac.org, states its objectives and its mission to rally support from fellow Conservatives for the upcoming election cycle.

“We believe passionately that the Right to Rise — to move up the income ladder based on merit, hard work and earned success — is the central moral promise of American economic life… We are optimists who believe that America’s opportunities have never been greater than they are right now. But we know America is falling short of its promise.”

Jeb Bush, who currently commands a 10 percent lead as the GOP frontrunner, has recently resigned from all of his corporate and non-profit board memberships, including with his own education foundation, in another move said to signal his intent for run for president in 2016.

Should Jeb Bush run for president in 2016, many believes that in order to win the Republican ticket, Bush would have to make a move to towards the right of the party. Discussing the issue to overturn the ban on same-sex marriage in Florida, Jeb Bush released a written statement yesterday.

“We live in a democracy, and regardless of our disagreements, we have to respect the rule of law. I hope that we can show respect for the good people on all sides of the gay and lesbian marriage issue — including couples making lifetime commitments to each other who are seeking greater legal protections and those of us who believe marriage is a sacrament and want to safeguard religious liberty.”

Since 1928, the Republican Party has not elected a President without a Nixon or Bush on the ticket. In 2015, Jeb Bush may be ready to put his name up as a candidate and not many would not bet against the former Florida Governor to go all the way to the White House.
