According to People, the daddy-daughter pair wore coordinated black outfits. Blue sported a black t-shirt with legendary rapper Tupac Shakur's face, a black snapback, and a hoodie. She accessorized her look with a black hat and an intricate initials neckpiece. Jay-Z chose Roc Nation with a black hoodie, and he accessorized the outfit with white sneakers. They were spotted interacting with other celebrities including Lil Uzi Vert, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and Hell’s Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay, on the football field before the game.
According to Billboard, the NFL Super Bowl holds plenty of history for the musical family, with Jay-Z winning his first Primetime Emmy as an executive producer of the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022. The show had been voted outstanding variety special (live), and the celebration starred Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent. Jay was previously nominated in that same category as an executive producer of the halftime show starring The Weeknd. His wife, Beyoncé, has performed at Super Bowl halftime twice: in 2013 and as a special guest during the 2016 Super Bowl set.
The Apple Music Super Bowl halftime star performer was the sensational pop queen - Rihanna. After staying away from the limelight for almost seven years the Diamonds singer returned to the stage to perform her major hits and announce her second pregnancy with ASAP Rocky.
Incidentally, Beyoncé is a pioneer when it comes to the stage reveal pregnancy announcement trend. She had revealed her first pregnancy during the V.M.A.s in 2011, and considering that Jay-Z was present in the house during the halftime performance, it must have been a déjà vu for the rapper. He was also Rihanna's mentor during the early days of her career. She performed two of their song collaborations during the Super Bowl Halftime - Run This Town and Umbrella.
Run This Town featured Rihanna and Kanye West, and it is composed by the duo along with Jay-Z. The song was released as a single for Jay-Z’s album The Blueprint 3 and was also used as a theme song for Battlefield 4. The phenomenal hit Umbrella is from the Good Girl Gone Bad album. The song also featured Jay-Z who co-wrote the song with Tricky Stewart and Kuk Harrell, and it had become the biggest hit of 2007. The daddy-daughter date night was indeed special with these starlit performances and with the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl.
