The new season of Jill & Jessa Counting On is back with the wedding of Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth. However, that is not the only exciting news the episodes have to tell. With Jessa’s second baby and Jill about to give birth to her second son, there are plenty of family moments for fans to watch.
On the other hand, Jana Duggar, the eldest of Duggar girls, is still not courting.
With Joy-Anna married off to Austin Forsyth, Jana commented in the latest episode just how much she will miss having her around .
“It’ll be sad to not have her at home,” she said to the camera. “But glad that we get to keep her nearby!”
It is true that Jana will appreciate having Joy-Anna close by, as the oldest sister she will now have around the home is Johannah, who is 11-years-old. While Jinger and Jill have moved away from home to start their married lives, 19-year-old Joy-Anna decided to stay close.
Jana is perhaps most well known for being the oldest unmarried female Duggar. Over the last three years, she has seen sisters, Jill, Jessa, Jinger and now Joy-Anna start courting, get engaged, married, and even have babies. Jana, meanwhile, has not been able to secure a single courtship.
Instead, she has been working around the clock to do chores around the house and support her numerous siblings — 18 to be exact — so that she does not add to the burden that her parents have to bear.
Even when she wants to spend a little bit of time by herself, her family is relentless in accompanying her.

With all her sisters getting married off, it is probably getting quite lonely in the house for Jana. At least Jana has her twin brother John-David, who is also not courting or engaged, as she makes through her late 20s still in her family home.
Just about a month ago, Jana faced some courting rumors when the fans spotted a young man on a bowling date with her father, Jim Bob Duggar. Often, when boys want to start a courtship with one of the Duggar girls, they get invited for a bowling date with the father.
But it turned out that Jonathan Hartono is just a good friend of the family and has no interested in courting the eldest Duggar girl.
