Charlize Theron is fresh off her split from Sean Penn. Rumor has it she’s now dating Jake Gyllenhaal . The Southpaw star and the Mad Max: Fury Road actress were spotted at the Sugarfish restaurant in Los Angeles, California. The two were reportedly cozy with one another, according to a report via In Touch Weekly . An eyewitness spoke to the tabloid about Gyllenhaal’s alleged date with the blonde beauty.
“Jake was touching her hand and smiling, making her laugh. Their chemistry was obvious.”
Now Charlize Theron and Jake Gyllenhaal are secretly dating , according to another report via OK! Magazine . The inside source said that the actor’s friendship has become romantic in the past few months. The source told the tabloid that Charlize and Jake have been trying to fight off their feelings for each other for some time.
“There’s always been an attraction, but the timing was never right. The romance is fresh, but they are having a blast so far.”
In comparison to the controversial Sean Penn, the insider said that Jake Gyllenhaal is very “gentle, thoughtful, and kind.”
Gyllennhaal’s reps have denied the dating rumors. They told Gossip Cop that the tabloid reports are “not true.” They also added that the reports about their alleged romance are “ridiculous.”
Luckily for ladies, Jake Gyllenhaal is a single man these days. Now that he’s done with Southpaw , he’s actively promoting his new movie Everest . Back in July, Jake had a very open and honest interview on The Howard Stern Show .
He revealed that he’s only been in two serious relationships: one with Reese Witherspoon from 2007 to 2009 and Kirsten Dunst from 2002 to 2004. He also famously dated singer Taylor Swift for a brief period of time. Jake also revealed that he has commitment issues, especially when it involves tying the knot.
“There are a lot of beautiful women, and there are opportunities. But at the same time, if you find the right person… I believe in monogamy. I believe in when you meet somebody who’s right, it will be right, and you’ll stay there.”
Meanwhile, Charlize Theron broke off her engagement with Sean Penn in June after almost two years of dating.
