Khloe Kardashian is currently at the side of her estranged husband, Lamar Odom. Since Tuesday, after the former professional athlete was found unconscious at Dennis Hof’s Love Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada, his reality star wife has remained dedicated to seeing him recover from his reported overdose, but unfortunately, Khloe Kardashian’s failure to leave his side has allegedly not come as good news for Liza Morales, the mother of Odom’s two children.
As the mother of 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Jr., Morales reportedly feels she and other family members should have say in Odom’s medical care, but because a judge has yet to sign off on Odom’s divorce from Khloe Kardashian, the reality star remains as his decision-maker.

“[Khloe Kardashian] and Lamar are in the middle of a divorce, so Liza and her circle don’t understand why she should be able to make life-or-death decisions on his behalf,” an insider explained to Radar Online on October 19. “It doesn’t seem right.”
Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, and their divorce was made final over the summer with both parties signing off on the split. However, a judge hasn’t signed the final document, which would make the finalization official, and isn’t expected to do so until the end of the year, or early next year.
In the meantime, according to Radar Online ‘s sources, Morales is looking into ways she can “expedite the divorce process,” and end Khloe Kardashian’s role as power of attorney. Unfortunately for her, there isn’t much, if anything, she can do to overrule Kardashian.
“As his ex, she is a legal stranger, and therefore has no influence whatsoever on his medical decisions or his divorce,” Beverly Hills attorney Adam Sacks explained to Radar Online .
While Morales holds no weight on Odom legally, his father, Joe Odom, could fight Khloe Kardashian.
“His father could step up and say, ‘[Khloe Kardashian] is actually divorcing him, I’m going to be making the decisions from now on.’ He could go to court and fight for guardianship.”
Khloe Kardashian flew to Las Vegas on Tuesday as soon as she heard about her estranged husband being found unconscious, and ever since, she appears to have remained at the Sunrise Hospital, where he is being treated. While other members of the family, including Liza Morales, their children, Odom’s aunt, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, and Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, have come and gone, Khloe Kardashian has yet to be photographed outside the facility at all.

Although Khloe Kardashian has been at Odom’s side for nearly one week straight, it’s unclear whether or not she would consider rekindling her romance with the troubled athlete. After she filed for divorce, it was clear Khloe Kardashian was holding onto some hope, but now, years later, she is in a new relationship with James Harden, and she may want to pursue that.
Khloe Kardashian tied the knot with Odom in September 2009, just 30 days after meeting at a party thrown by Ron Artest. Weeks later, Khloe Kardashian’s wedding aired on Keeping Up With Kardashians , and the two went on to appear on their own spinoff series, Khloe & Lamar , which aired for two seasons on the E! Network, and also featured Odom’s best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, who later died from drug use.
