Jenelle Evans isn’t thrilled that her fellow Teen Mom , Amber Portwood, offered her advice during a recent interview. After Portwood spoke to E! News , Evans contacted the site, and responded to Portwood’s suggestions.
On March 24, Jenelle Evans shared the following statement with E! :
“That’s funny she says that…I live by the quote my probation officer taught me: ‘Don’t put yourself into a situation if you already know the outcome is going to be negative.’ I’m about to graduate from Miller Motte in July with my MA diploma and am going back to be a surgery tech.”
Although Jenelle Evans struggled with heroin addiction years ago, she has reportedly been clean since 2013. Portwood admittedly struggled with addiction, as well, and claimed she would have likely died if it wasn’t for her 17-month stint behind bars, which began in June 2012.
Speaking directly to Portwood, Jenelle Evans continued, “I think I’m doing pretty fine for myself, but thanks for the ‘advice.’”
While Portwood didn’t necessarily suggest Jenelle Evans needed her advice, E! News asked her to comment on the Teen Mom 2 star’s latest drama, which includes her fiancé Nathan Griffith’s arrest. As the Inquisitr reported, Griffith was accused of pinning Jenelle Evans to a toilet earlier this month, and ripping off her engagement ring .
Speaking to E! News , Portwood offered Jenelle Evans the following advice:
“It’s simple. If it’s wrong, don’t do it because you feel like you’re not going to get caught and you do. That’s how I used to feel. Oh, I can do whatever the hell I want. How are they going to know? Nobody’s going to pull me over and yeah I did. Don’t do it if you’re not supposed to.”
In an arrest report from Jenelle Evans’ alleged domestic dispute with Griffith, which was reported by Radar Online , Griffith reportedly claimed the mother of two had been violent with Griffith in the past.
Griffith “did make statements about [Jenelle Evans] always being violent with him” and claimed “he has marks from other altercations.”
Griffith “did show the [responding officer] marks on his back. The R/O asked [Griffith] if he called the police,” but he said “he did not call the police due to not wanting to get [Jenelle Evans] in trouble.”
Jenelle Evans will be seen, along with fiancé Griffith, in the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2 , which is expected to return to MTV later this year.
