Everyone knows by now that hunky Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev broke up earlier this year after three years together. But Ian doesn’t seem to hold a grudge and went out of his way to be nice to Nina. Awww!
So what did the lovely man do to deserve the sweetest ex-boyfriend title?
Well, on Twitter, he talked about Nina. In a very nice way. This is what happened.
From his tweet on Monday, he was minding his own business at the store when he noticed the new issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine in the stands and voila, there was Nina, looking stunning as always.
Ian , acting the gentleman that we all know him to be, tweeted the following,
“In a store this morning-who do I see?The one&only @ninadobrev,” he captioned it. “These things are almost gone so If you haven’t gotten this magazine off of a shelf-get one. One word: Stunning… Congrats Nina! Xo Ian.”
Ian Somerhalder just made thousands of women swoon with his sweet words of encouragement to his ex.
It seems as if he doesn’t have hard feelings towards Nina. According to a source who spoke with E! News, the reason for the break up was the age difference.
Ian is 34 and Nina is then years younger and apparently he was ready to settle down and she wasn’t. More swooning ladies?
According to the source the Vampire Diaries star and the actress/model still talk very often, actually daily.
