Deva Dalporto is at it again with a new mommy-relatable parody video to the tune of Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass.” Deva’s rendition of the popular tune is called “I Just Need Some Space.” So the song wasn’t auto-tuned, and there may be a few pitch issues, but all-in-all, it is definitely worth a listen.
Deva notes on her website, mylifesuckers , that the song was picked by an overwhelming majority in her latest Facebook poll to be her next parody project. According to a recent post, Deva says the video has received over one million views on PopSugar and has over 683,000 views on YouTube as of this posting.
This isn’t Deva’s first dabbling in parody videos. Deva tackeled Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” with the parody rendition “I’m So Cranky,” along with Frozen’s hit tune “Let It Go,” with great success. You can view all of Deva’s parody videos on her site, mylifesuckers .
What makes the video so great are the lyrics. Moms are posting their praises of the lyrics, and note that many are everyday struggles faced by mothers. Others are finding solace in the fact that they are not alone.
One mother wrote, “I watched the video last night and laughed as hard as I could without waking the baby. I totally needed it — thank you!”
