‘Hunger Games’ Poster Accidentally Included A Very, Very, Very NSFW Word

The latest poster for Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 was released earlier this week to officially begin the 100 day countdown to the film’s release date.

However, there was one major oversight to the poster, as it accidentally included a very NSFW word. Eagle-eyed movie fans will be able to spot the word hidden in amidst the poster below.

Can’t see it? Then you’re lucky. But if you want to know what all the fuss is about then you just need to focus on the word “until” and the 0 directly next to it, which, because it has been separated by the word “until,” has now turned into a “C.” Now just add the “C” with “until,” and you’ll realize why there was an issue with the poster.

Soon after the internet brought this hidden expletive to the attention of those in control of Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’s Twitter account, the post was almost immediately deleted. But that didn’t stop people from screen-grabbing the poster and then gleefully sharing it with their friends.

Even though the above debacle caused a minor media storm, Lionsgate, the studio behind the hugely popular franchise, haven’t commented on the matter.

Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 is the concluding edition to the franchise, and has been preceded by 2012’s The Hunger Games, 2013’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and last winter’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 . The three previous installments to the series have grossed the huge sum of $2.307 billion, and it’s widely believed that Mockingjay — Part 2 will push this total over $3 billion when it hits in November.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 , which will once again star Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Natalie Dormer, Donald Sutherland, and the late great Philip Seymour Hoffman, will finally hit cinemas on November 20, 2015.

We can expect its promotional campaign to go above and beyond to make sure that the above word doesn’t somehow sneak its way into the film’s posters and advertisements over the next few weeks.
