Last year, Sam Horowitz had his bar mitzvah, continuing the heritage of the Jewish People and their covenant with God, which has lasted thousands of years.

However, it is doubtful if what took place would have met with God’s approval.

The Jewish parenting blog Kveller featured a video of Sam’s bar mitzvah, which took place at the Omni Hotel in Dallas. It described it as “the craziest bar mitzvah video” ever.

In the video, 13-year-old Sam shakes his hips to Jennifer Lopez’s Dance Again accompanied by half a dozen scantily dressed backup dancers. The stage was decorated with his name in huge letters shining in the background.

The video clip shows Sam Horowitz’s entrance to his initiation ceremony; it was originally posted on YouTube on November 26, 2012.

After being publicized by Kvelle r, the clip has gone viral, earning both criticism and praises from viewers.

The Dallas Observer dubbed the performance: “the craziest entrance to a religious celebration and ceremony we’ve ever seen.”

Now, you can make up your own mind. How do you feel about the Sam Horowitz bar mitzvah ? Has God embraced the internet?
