In our modern Internet world we seem to have this obsession with search engines. Who’s the biggest, who’s the riches, and who’s an also ran. The thing is that Google hasn’t always been the powerhouse it is today, or will be tomorrow – or not.
In fact there have been a lot of search engines that came before Google. Alta Vista, Excite, HotBot and even right back to the very beginning with Archie.
