Hillary Clinton thinks the White House might be filled with “insults, prejudice and paranoia” unless she beats who she feels is certain to be the 2016 Republican nominee for the Presidential race – Donald Trump. Trump’s popularity seems to be growing across the country although Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio aren’t far behind, followed by a very distant Ben Carson. Jeb Bush announced earlier this week that he was dropping out of the race due to poor voter support and virtually no chance at winning the nomination. Pundits have long declared that the Republican party’s race has far too many nominees, which splits potential votes and makes it difficult for a strong contender to pull ahead. But according to Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump has it wrapped up.
“Yes. I mean, right now it looks like that. But I’m not going to handicap their race. I want to let them decide that.”
Her words were followed shortly thereafter by a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday with the headline “Donald Trump.” From the content, it appears Clinton is worried that he is her main opponent, even before she wins the democratic bid for presidential nominee against Bernie Sanders, according to ABC News .
“I’ve said for a long time that Trump isn’t a joke, and now, he’s looking more and more likely to be the Republican nominee. The man who riles up his crowds by calling Mexican-Americans criminal and suggesting Muslims should be banned from entering this country has limitless resources to run his campaign — and he also has a lead in the delegate count. With Donald Trump now the clear frontrunner, we are likely to hear even more desperate attacks and extreme ideas than usual. (And that’s saying something!)”

Clinton and Trump are by no means friendly, as this race seems to take more personal attacks and jabs on opponents than most, and Trump has a record of vehemently expressing his disgust with Bill Clinton and his presidency. In December, he accused Bill Clinton of mistreating women. He also suggested that Hillary Clinton was using her female gender to gain an advantage in the race.
“If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband, with his terrible record of women abuse, while playing the women’s card on me, she’s wrong!”
Bill Clinton had a highly publicized affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky during his presidency, in which he denied having sex with her, but Lewinsky apparently had a dress with Clinton’s DNA on it from one of their encounters, compelling him to admit that sexual activity had occurred. However, Bill Clinton has never been formally convicted of any abuse against women. Trump may have been alluding to Bill Clinton’s history of infidelity in his marriage with Hillary Clinton, as well as being accused of misusing his authority as president to seduce Monica Lewinsky, then in her early 20s.

At that time, Clinton campaign spokeswoman Christina Reynolds said that the attacks were unprofessional , according to ABC News .
“Hillary Clinton won’t be bullied by attacks Donald Trump throws at Hillary or former president Clinton. When his insults are directed at women, immigrants, Asian-Americans, Muslims, the disabled, or hard working Americans looking to raise their wages, Hillary Clinton will stand up to him, as she has from the beginning. Donald Trump’s words are demeaning, his policies are just as destructive. Hillary Clinton will challenge Donald Trump and all the other Republicans who will rip away the progress we’ve made.”
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both allege that the other is sexist, a central form of contention in this presidential race.
