Hilary Duff , the star who had once professed to using Tinder, is now too busy to swipe left or right. Although she joined Tinder back in April, she says that right now she has too much going on.
In an interview with British magazine Closer , Duff said,”I was on Tinder but at the moment I don’t really have time. I don’t have hours to camp on my phone and look for dates, but I don’t turn my nose up at Tinder like I used to.”
She continued, ” I thought it was weird and it started out as a joke when I first went on it. I was swiping with my girlfriends for a laugh, then I was like: ‘Yeah I’m going to join Tinder!”
So did Hilary Duff meet anyone worthwhile? Looks like she did, or at least temporarily, “The boys I found on there were really normal and charming and I thought: ‘Why can’t I be part of something that is totally normal?’ So I did go on dates and I still see one of the guys – Jason – but we’re more friends than anything.”
Although she’s too busy for Tinder, Duff isn’t too busy to celebrate her sister and welcome her into motherhood. Duff’s sister actress Haylie Duff welcomed her first child with her partner Matt Rosenberg. In an interview with E! the mother of Luca, 3, absolutely gushed about her older sister Haylie.
“She’s doing great and I’m so proud of her. She’s really a natural mom. She has the baby on a schedule already and she’s like four-weeks-old. Little baby Ryan is a cutie.”
So far it looks like Hilary Duff is a hands on aunt. “I’ve been there a lot. I give a mean swaddle so [Haylie’s] always calling me like, ‘Come over here! Give this baby a swaddle. It’s really fun to have a new addition to the family.”
As for Luca, Duff’s son, she’s always very open about speaking about him. Duff told E! , “He is amazing. It’s seriously such a fun age. He turned 3 in March. Just everyday I’m so entertained by the way that his brain is working and the questions he comes up with and who he’s becoming.”
As for her ex, Mike Comrie, who she’s co-parenting with she said, “We do a little good job with it. It’s not the easiest at times, but we are a really strong team and we work really hard to keep things as normal as possible for Luca.”
