Rude is probably one of the best songs to hit the radios this year. Magic’s instant classic has inspired underdogs all over the world to go after the girl, and despite people debating on who is on the right on this one, whether it’s the dad or the suitor, the song has managed to attract millions of views on YouTube, making it one of the most successful hits of 2014.

The song has inspired some singers to make renditions of their own. Here are some of the best covers of Rude on YouTube.

5. Matty B Raps

This kid has a huge future in music ahead of him. His cover of Rude has already attracted ten million hits, making his cute version one of the most popular on YouTube.

4. Joseph Vincent

Joseph Vincent, aka YouTuber hoorahjencar, also made a cover version of Rude that will have fans blushing over his voice (and looks).

3. Colbie Caillat

Colbie Caillat, Realize singer, has her own rendition of Rude, adding her own vocal style to the song.

2. Walk Off The Earth

Walk of the Earth adds their magical twist to Rude, singing the song in a pond at a park. Known for their musical theatrics, Walk off the Earth makes Rude more interesting by adding their own acoustic styles to the rhythm of the song.

1. Scott Bradlee and Von Smith

Von Smith’s suave 50’s twist on Rude will have you snapping and twisting those hips. With Scott Bradlee on the piano, the band plays Rude the way it should have been sung in the first place. Conservative father encouraging his daughter to marry the richer one instead of the jobless hippie. What isn’t 50s about this song?

BONUS: The Dad’s Side Of The Story!

To be fair, the dad’s got a point not wanting to marry his daughter to the protagonist. Here is Benji Jenna Cowart adding his own twist to the song.
