One Direction star Harry Styles is adored by young fans across the world for his good looks and cheeky grin. Harry is renowned as One Direction’s resident lothario, but who would have guessed that Styles is also a stickler for correct grammar? Harry showed a new side to his personality during One Direction’s performance in Philadelphia when he spotted a fans poor grammar on a hand-written sign.

According to the Mirror, Harry spotted a sign in the audience that read “Hi Harry, your so nice” and showed that he had a good understanding of the use of possessive adjectives, abbreviations, and apostrophes. Bearing a wide grin, Harry took the sign from the fan, corrected the grammar to read “Hi Harry, you’re so nice.” Harry then autographed the poster and handed it back to 16-year-old One Direction fan Taelor Ford.

Far from being embarrassed by her grammatical error, Taelor told the BBC that she was thrilled that her error got her noticed by Styles.

“He [Harry] asked for a pen and for security to bring the sign to him. He fixed the spelling, he changed the ‘your’ to ‘you’re’ and then he signed it, ‘thank you, love Harry.’”

“I actually wasn’t embarrassed at all, I was kind of happy that I misspelt it. I’m not really good at English at all. But I’m just so happy one of them noticed the sign.”

The sign, complete with Harry’s signature, now has pride of place on Taelor’s bedroom wall.

Fans were delighted and amused to see Styles turning from singer to English teacher and some even suggested that Harry might turn to teaching when One Direction split early next year.

As reported in the Inquisitr earlier this week, Taelor’s poster was not the only thing that Harry received from the audience during the Philadelphia show. Harry was also hit in the face by a soda can thrown by a member of the audience. According to Sugarscape, Hanna Cooke was identified as the girl who threw the can at Harry and has since taken to twitter to apologize for her dangerous actions.

It seems that Hanna was subjected to death threats as a result of her actions. Hanna said that she “loved Harry with all her heart” and didn’t mean to hurt him. Apparently, Hanna was just trying to attract Harry’s attention. She added that she didn’t think that Harry would want a fan subjected to death threats even when they did something so stupid.
