Do you remember that first time you read the Harry Potter series? Remember that wonderful warm glow you got as you turned each page, the sensation of being completely and utterly transported into the world of Harry Potter. What about when you turned that last page and realized that world was over, but it was okay because you could just go back to book one and start all over again?

Thanks to the way these books made generations of people feel, there is now a trending Harry Potter hashtag that is a spin on the #PayItForward movement. Fans of the series by J.K. Rowling are now leaving notes inside Harry Potter books letting the new reader know just how special the world of Harry Potter really is. Each of these notes uses the hashtag #PotterItForward and many are posting pictures of their notes (either of the notes they have placed, or — even better — the ones they have found in their new Harry Potter books) and posting it to Twitter.

The Pay It Forward movement started with the novel, Pay It Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde in 1999. In 2000, Hyde started the Pay It Forward Foundation of which its philosophy “is that through acts of kindness among strangers, we all foster a more caring society.” Pay It Forward was also made into a movie starring Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, and Haley Joel Osment.

For Harry Potter fans, the #PotterItForward movement isn’t the only news with a hashtag about the books series. An illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is available for pre-order via Amazon and is due for release on October 6, 2015. Hypable offers a sneak peek into some of the beautifully illustrated pages of the latest edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone . Harry Potter fans got an early treat when the publishers, Scholastic and Bloomsbury, released an image via Twitter by the artist Jim Kay of Lord Voldemort using the hashtag #UnveilVoldemort last Thursday. According to Hypable , Scholastic and Bloomsbury will be releasing one illustrated version of each Harry Potter book per year, so fans now can look forward to many years of new versions of the Harry Potter books.
