The Vampire Diaries ‘ Ian Somerhalder has been hacked with the individual spending nearly 20 minutes tweeting from Somerhalder’s account on Tuesday around 9:45 p.m., reports E! News . The hacker began the cyber assault on Ian’s account by asking “who even is Ian Somerhalder” and, 20 minutes later, deleted all tweets and posted a tweet that said “I am so sorry.”
One of the tweets had created internet buzz by declaring Somerhalder was still in love with ex-girlfriend and former Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev, which obviously teased the hopes of fans still upset by the Somerhalder-Dobrev break-up. Currently, Ian Somerhalder is happily married to Nikki Reed and Nina Dobrev is dating Austin Stowell.
Upon revealing that Somerhalder’s account had been seized, the hacker revealed himself as @clou9nin3, but that account has already been deactivated, following the incident with Ian’s account.
There have been several incidents in which Ian Somerhalder’s account has been hacked with the most recent occurring in April of this year, when that hacker used Somerhalder’s account to favorite the tweets of other users.
“Clearly I was hacked, not cool #hacked I’m in the process of finding out who it was-PLEASE be respectful with your comments. Truly respectful!”
Previously, The Vampire Diaries star was hacked in 2013, shortly after Mr. Somerhalder announced his break-up with Ms. Dobrev, and immediately responded on his own behalf.
“You are an a** my friend. Get out of my acct…”
“I have nothing but respect for you – was just having a little fun. No hard feelings,” the hacker asked in response to Ian’s tweet.
“Really not cool… I appreciate the message though.. Yes please stop,” Mr. Somerhalder replied. “Have a great day.”
Us Weekly reports that Ian, following the incident, tweeted on a positive note without mentioning the hacker at all, only wishing his 6 million followers a good night.

Ian has been focused on starting a family with wife Nikki, when he hasn’t been busy on the set of The Vampire Diaries , and Somerhalder recently joked about the happy couple’s efforts.
“You know, it’s all about practice. It’s not practice makes perfect—it’s perfect practice,” Ian said. “I’m actually pregnant right now!”
Speaking more seriously of their efforts to get pregnant, Somerhalder alluded to his own concerns about current social and political climates into which he and Nikki would be bringing new life.
“It’s the most incredible thing to be happy and secure in something. It’s a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world—but I really can’t wait to do it and really just love it.”
