Could Gwen Stefani perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration? The president-elect reportedly hopes that the “Hollaback Girl” will help him celebrate being sworn as the next POTUS, and he’s using his powerful connections to woo Blake Shelton’s glamorous girlfriend.
Music industry insiders recently told TheWrap that Donald Trump’s team is getting so desperate to have famous faces onstage at his inauguration that talent bookers are being offered ambassadorships in exchange for delivering the caliber of starpower that Trump is looking for. Two Hollywood insiders also said that the president-elect has enlisted television producer Mark Burnett to help him attract top-tier talent, and he has his eye on Gwen Stefani .
Burnett worked with Trump on The Apprentice , and he’s helping the former reality show star plan his inauguration. Burnett also produces The Voice , a show that Gwen Stefani just so happens to be a coach on. However, there’s no word on whether Gwen would be willing to perform for the president-elect.

As Us Weekly reports, Gwen Stefani is a Barack Obama supporter who was invited to perform at the president’s final state dinner at the White House. Blake Shelton attended the event with Stefani and even joined her onstage to perform their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.” During the presidential election, Stefani never shared her thoughts about either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton. However, Shelton told Billboard that there’a at least one thing that he likes about the president-elect .
“I’m not going to have the political conversation with you about Trump, or about Hillary Clinton, but I will tell you this: Whether you love him or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don’t always have to be so afraid,” Shelton said.
“A lot of people are pulling for him, no matter how much Hollywood fights it. I see people who don’t like him go and beat up people that do like him. You tell me, who’s crazy here?”

Gwen and Blake also have something in common with Donald Trump: They love helicopter rides. According to the New York Times , Mark Burnett and Donald Trump reportedly talked about the president-elect taking a helicopter from Washington, D.C. to New York on Inauguration Day. However, security concerns make it highly unlikely that Trump will get the splashy, reality show-style arrival that he wants.
Luckily for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, they’re free to live their lives like the reality show stars that they are. As Entertainment Tonight reports, The Voice coaches love to go on “ Bachelor -style helicopter dates ” by taking flight in the chopper that Blake keeps on his property in Oklahoma. On Thursday, Blake told talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that he and Gwen get a lot of use out of his whirlybird, and it’s one of his favorite ways to travel because he can drink on the way to his destination.
“We actually, we use that thing a lot. It gets a lot more use than you would think,” Blake said. “In order to be able to settle in and really be, you know, enjoying it you gotta have some drinks.”
However, whenever they make long journeys, Stefani and Shelton have to trade the helicopter for a private jet. As Hollywood Life reports, the couple was recently photographed playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus by loading up a private plane with Christmas presents , which were most likely toys for Gwen Stefani’s good little boys. They departed from Los Angeles on December 15, and Stefani later used Snapchat to let her fans know that she and Shelton had headed to his property in Oklahoma for the holidays. In one of Stefani’s Snapchat videos, she and Shelton are driving down a dirt road and listening to Christmas music.

As People reports, Blake Shelton is one of the musicians set to perform during NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly , so he and Gwen Stefani will likely ring in the New Year together in Times Square. Since Stefani will be in the big city, it would be the perfect opportunity for Trump to invite her to his tower to negotiate a possible inauguration performance.
