Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began facing pregnancy rumors just days after going public with their romance, and ever since, the rumors have continued.
Although Gwen Stefani and Shelton, who star alongside one another on The Voice , regularly deny and even joke about the rumors, the reports aren’t slowing down, and just days ago, Gwen Stefani got in on the action by sharing a photo of her alleged sonogram.
Along with a caption claiming she and Shelton were expecting a baby girl, which has been reported numerous times since they began dating, Gwen Stefani announced her “pregnancy” on April Fools’ Day — but only as a joke to fans.

As Taste of Country reported on April 2, Gwen Stefani’s “pregnancy” was eventually confirmed to be a joke , but in her post, she said nothing of the sort, and despite it being April 1 when her post was made, many fans believed she may have been serious. Adding to the speculation was the fact that a recent report claimed, but didn’t confirm, that a pregnancy was a possibility for the couple.
“They would be surprised if she got pregnant since they are not actively trying for a baby, but they wouldn’t be against it. It wouldn’t be considered an accident or a mistake if it were to happen,” a source told Hollywood Life on March 30.
Gwen Stefani is already mom to three boys, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale, but Shelton doesn’t yet have any children of his own.
Gwen Stefani and Shelton began dating at the end of last year during production on The Voice Season 9, in which they both starred as coaches on the show. However, it wasn’t until November 4 that they went public with the romance during an appearance at an after party for the Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.

In addition to the ongoing rumors regarding a potential pregnancy, Gwen Stefani and her main squeeze have also faced reports of an engagement and impending wedding, the latest of which claimed Gwen Stefani popped the question to Shelton during a dinner at her Los Angeles home.
“He was in shock,” a source told Life & Style last month, according to a report by Hollywood Life . “[Gwen Stefani] had been talking to friends about reversing roles and popping the question to Blake for weeks now, but she was still nervous.”
“[Blake] is so glad she surprised him — that’s what he loves about [Gwen Stefani]!” the insider continued. “Blake has done some ‘almost’ proposals since they started dating last year. They have had long, romantic walks on their trips to Oklahoma, and they have talked a lot about marriage, but there hadn’t been a formal proposal until now.”
While Gwen Stefani may not be pregnant, engaged or planning a wedding, she and Shelton are serious about their relationship and have stepped out as a family with Gwen Stefani’s three children multiple times. They’ve also continued their professional relationship on The Voice , on which Gwen Stefani is currently acting as a mentor for Team Shelton. Although Gwen Stefani appeared in a coaching role in the past, it was Christina Aguilera’s turn during Season 11, but producers opted to have her back as her boyfriend’s advisor.
