Gunnery Sgt. Chris Taylor’s return from Afghanistan will undoubtedly leave you in tears. Sgt. Taylor returned to the United States, but didn’t expect to see his wife at his homecoming because he was stationed in California, and she was in Maryland. However, it had been a year since he was deployed, and she couldn’t wait for him to come home. According to the Huffington Post , the Sergeant had no clue that his wife was standing nearby as he hugged friends who had been waiting for him. Once he spots her, he breaks down in tears.
According to Fox 8 Cleveland , over half a million people have viewed the video since it was posted on Nov. 8. The emotional moment (which is at 2:47 in the video above) is captured perfectly , and has allowed so many people to experience the complete love and joy that the Taylor’s have.
