A memo served internally to Verizon employees is pointing to a Google Android 2.1 update for the Droid Eris as early as tomorrow, Tuesday May 10th.
The update was announced in February by HTC, although an exact timeline for the update had yet to be determined.
It should be noted that the date is listed as tentative since other updates have failed to arrive as scheduled including the Sprint Hero and Moment Smartphones.
The update will bring with it HTML5 web browser support, a newer version of the HTC Sense UI and Friend Stream for Facebook, Flickr and Twitter update consolidation. [ Electronista ]
