If you haven’t heard about the girl band Cimorelli, you probably will soon. The group is formed by six sisters ranging in age from 13 to 23-years-old.

The family is from Malibu and the girls have been singing ever since they can remember. Over Memorial Day Weekend they launched their single Made In America which has made them overnight stars on Youtube.

They have 500 million likes on their video and 1.6 million subscribers to their channel.

This is a family affair, mom manages the group while dad and their five brothers, yes, you read that correctly, are also involved in the running of the band.

After their video was launched the girls got 450 million hits. Very impressive.

So where do the Cimorellis get their musical talents from?

Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani says that it comes from their mom, who plays piano and made them try harmonizing when they were little.

The Cimorelli sisters say they sing all over, while doing laundry and chores at home, while in the car, and of course now on Youtube.

They first started doing covers for other artists songs such as Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, and Justin Bieber. Later they began writing their own stuff, that’s how talented they are.

The Cimorelli brothers also sing and play instruments, we don’t know if they will have their own band yet, but it is possible.

The girls are to start touring shortly and won the 2012 Teen Choice Award for Web Star. Their singing style is predominantly a capella, but they also use instruments.

In 2012 Cimorelli also won The Bieber-Off , a contest by Ryan Seacrest where they covered Justin Bieber’s hit Boyfriend . The girls also signed a contract with Universal Music’s Island Label.

No short on talent, the future looks very bright indeed, especially after an appearance on national TV at the Good Morning America show on ABC.

This is not the last you will hear about the Cimorelli sisters. Could they be the female version of One Direction? Only time will tell, but it looks good.
