Giraffes’ necks are over six feet long and weigh more than 500 pounds, and apparently they make for quite the deadly weapons. A new documentary titled AFRICA premieres Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10/9c on Discovery, and it showcases exactly how territorial male giraffes can become when courting a female.
The full giraffe “battle” will air on an episode titled “Kalahari.”
