It looks like another General Hospital wedding may be coming up soon. Dr. Kevin Collins is about to get down on one knee this week to propose to Laura Spencer. It’s not like she wasn’t expecting this moment, but it may be even more romantic and special than she ever thought possible. A new preview captures that magical moment between them.
This is actually the second proposal for these two lovebirds. However, the first one was more of a spur-of-the-moment proposal. Kevin had asked Laura to marry him as they were having coffee at Kelly’s. She turned him down not because she doesn’t love him, but because she wanted something more special than a quickie at a diner. The General Hospital clip reveals that Laura Spencer is about to get just what she wanted .
It looks like Kevin has pulled out all the stops by arranging a private dinner for just the two of them. Laura is stunning in a dark red dress as she sits at a candlelit table with her guy. He is seen presenting her with an amazing engagement ring and followed by a romantic speech before he pops the question. He started out by telling her just how lucky he is.
“I’m a lucky man to be loved by someone as kind, generous, and stunning as you, and to be able to love you back.”
He then went on to say that he is thrilled to learn something new about her every day and is dazzled by her. He agrees that they fit together and that he wants to spend the rest of their days together. How romantic is that?

Many General Hospital viewers have shared on social media how much they love this couple and want to see them in it for the long haul. The Luke and Laura days are long gone and this is a brand new chapter in Laura Spencer’s life.
Both Kevin and Laura have been married before. Luke is not around Port Charles anymore, but he would probably be thrilled that she found someone like Kevin Collins. It will be interesting to see how Lucy Coe reacts to the news that her ex is getting remarried. She hasn’t been seen much since the Nurses Ball last spring, but she may be back on General Hospital for the upcoming KevLar wedding.

There is always the possibility that they will decide to run off somewhere to get hitched. However, that seems doubtful since they have Dante and Lulu, and the rest of their friends and family, who will be thrilled that they are engaged. Of course, Laura will have to say yes to Kevin’s proposal. That seems like a pretty sure thing since she has been waiting patiently for this moment.
