The big Jason Morgan reveal is finally happening on General Hospital, supposedly during November sweeps, and fans are waiting to find out how it all goes down. Many rumors and speculations are popping up on who actually spills the beans and what Jake/Jason will do once he finds out who he really is. Most people think that he will go running straight into Sam Morgan’s arms. However, Celebrity Dirty Laundry has speculated that Jason may just stay with Elizabeth after the truth comes out.
Right now, Jake and Elizabeth are engaged, and the wedding is supposed to take place in the next month or two. The nuptials may be interrupted by someone, such as Laura Spencer or Spinelli, who will reveal the whole truth, and that Liz has been keeping it from her fiancé all this time. This will all blow up in her face, and she will be paying the consequences for those lies. But will she lose Jason Morgan forever?

It seems that Jake is more like the old Jason Quartermaine, rather than hitman Jason Morgan, and CDL says that this could be a deciding factor in his forgiveness of Elizabeth. It does seem that he has deep feelings for Liz right now, and not much going on with Sam, other than chasing criminals and being a friend. Of course, he has had a few previous memories of his wife, but he seems to be very much in love with his current girl.
Sam is currently making a life with hospital surgeon Patrick Drake, and daughter Emma, but she seems to still be yearning for her supposed dead husband. Unfortunately, Mrs. Morgan has not seen much in Jake that has reminded her of Jason, but that may change eventually.
Viewers are expecting Jason to go right back to the life that he shared with Sam, and to be a daddy to little Danny, not to mention the mob life that he had. However, so much time has passed, and he has shared a life with Elizabeth, and now has his other son, Jake, back. Jason has a huge decision to make when the truth is revealed. Even when he finds out that he is, indeed, Jason Morgan, there is still no guarantee that he will remember every single detail about his former life. Now that Sonny is fighting for his life at the hospital after being shot, Jake has started remembering bits of his life with the mobster.
It will be interesting to see how Jake/Jason handles the truth when it is revealed. He has one woman that he is now deeply in love with, and a wife who is waiting for him to come back to her, and whom he had previously pledged his life to. The new General Hospital writers have their hands full with this current story line.
If this rumor of Jason eventually choosing Elizabeth over Sam proves to be true, this will have many General Hospital viewers up in arms. The fact that Liz has not told Jason the truth has brought out the anti-Liason fans in full force. The never-ending battle between Liason (Liz and Jason) fans vs. JaSam (Jason and Sam) fans will certainly be brought to its peak if the writers go this route.
