Frank Black has posted a Vine onto his Twitter account that appears to show him singing along to a new Pixies song.

Black uploaded the short video to The Actual Pixies Twitter account yesterday, on August 15.

It showed Black recording himself in a car, holding a camera close to his face and mouthing along to a song that is blasting from his stereo.

The Pixies are set to embark on a world tour later this year, which will see them play in the United Kingdom in November, where they will start their tour in Dublin, before moving on to Manchester, Glasgow, and London.

Black’s song is apparently the follow up effort, Bagboy, which they released in June.

Black is clearly a big fan of this new branch of technology, having created a series of Vines, one of which depicts the singer attempting to pick up gear for the band.

Black uploaded the following Vine first:

He then followed this up with a Vine that saw him singing along, maybe, to a new song:

Kim Deal , the original bassist for the Pixies, confirmed that she’d left the band in June and won’t returning for the impending tour. The Pixies posted a message on their Facebook page confirming her exit, which also left the door open for her to one day return:

“We are sad to say that Kim Deal has decided to leave the Pixies. We are very proud to have worked with her on and off over the last 25 years. Despite her decision to move on, we will always consider her a member of the Pixies, and her place will always be here for her. We wish her all the best.”

Are you looking forward to the Pixies’ return?
