Fox News Channel international correspondent Dominic Di-Natale, 43, has been tragically found dead in Colorado.
The medical examiner has ruled his passing a suicide; the exact cause of death has not yet been released. Di-Natale was based in FNC’s Los Angeles bureau.
A Fox employee since 2007, Di-Natale had covered stories for the news channel both domestically and all over the world, particularly in the Middle East. He was originally a print journalist in Europe who later transitioned to television with the BBC, where he reported from Belgium, Germany, the U.K., United Arab Emirates, and New York.
His work was featured on the Fox News Channel, the Fox Business Network, and FoxNews.com.
Di-Natale most recently reported from the Ferguson, Mo ., area over Thanksgiving, during which he tweeted an image of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis with a caption that simply said “last one.” See embed below.
According to a report posted on the Fox News website, “The coroner in Jefferson County, Colo., where Di-Natale owned property, said the veteran journalist took his own life. Officials discovered Di-Natale’s body Wednesday after being alerted by a friend who knew of his state of mind regarding serious undisclosed health issues.”
In a statement, a network spokesperson said that “We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic’s passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East.”
Di-Natale notably reported from Osama bin Laden’s Pakistan compound in the aftermath of the U.S. raid on the al-Qaeda leader.

Many of Dominic Di-Natale’s Fox co-workers and others are taking to social media to express condolences on the death of the veteran correspondent. Adam Housley, for example, wrote that “he was my friend, colleague, and we shared a love of 80s music. He will be truly missed.”
