Though she is no longer an active part of Real Housewives of New York , things just got pretty real for Kelly Benison, as $50k worth of jewelry was stolen from her on Martha’s Vineyard, where she had a business meeting.

According to Town & Country , Bensimon was in town on business to discuss a new business venture with an investor had left her jewelry in a Black Dog bag , which was in the car of the investor, parked at the Yacht Club.

“It’s all Hermè?s, Rolex and Cartier,” Bensimon explained to the New York Post . “I’m so upset.”

Bensimon reached out to the New York Post to put the word out there that she is offering a reward for the return of her items, which are of great sentimental value.

“The bag contained Hermès bracelets to Cartier tricolor gold bangles to my incredible Daytona watch and Mauboussin diamond ring. It’s devastating. As a single mom, who was on a work trip, it’s particularly upsetting. I was saving these for my girls,” she said.

Bravo is reporting that Bensimon took some time to express her sadness about the loss of her items.

“It’s particularly upsetting because the pieces have such significant sentimental value to Kelly… These pieces of jewelry are not just objects, but my favorite pieces that I wear everyday! They are my signature pieces!” she told the Daily Dish . “These were to be passed on to my daughters as heirlooms, so that is obviously upsetting.”

Bensimon says she is grateful, though, for the outpouring of emotional support.

“I am so grateful for all of the outreach regarding my stolen jewelry. Everyone has been so kind and helpful, it really means a lot to me,” she says. “Whoever turns in the jewelry will be offered a reward,” Kelly says. “Fingers crossed!”
