For so long, news on AMC’s latest zombie series, Fear The Walking Dead, was nearly non-existent. Now, over the last few weeks, there has been a flurry of activity in relation to promoting their companion series to The Walking Dead .
“What did the world look like as it was transforming into the horrifying apocalypse depicted in The Walking Dead ? This spin-off set in Los Angeles, following new characters as they face the beginning of the end of the world, will answer that question.
Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, David Alpert and showrunner David Erickson and produced by AMC Studios. Co-Executive Producer Adam Davidson, who directed the pilot, is also directing the second and third episodes. The series’ first season, consisting of six one-hour episodes, will premiere on AMC in late summer.”
We now have sneak peek clip number four for Fear The Walking Dead to show you. Yet again this is another short teaser video, running only for sixteen seconds — and nearly half of that being the logo and release month shot. But it has some sites wondering if maybe the flu vaccine caused the original zombie outbreak. Although, judging by the video, perhaps the people who didn’t get the vaccine are the cause of the initial outbreak?
In the clip we find Madison (played by Kim Dickens) being questioned over her health. She is, presumably, at work, so the person talking to her is likely a faculty staff member. Judging by the cast credits of Fear The Walking Dead on IMDb , the character could be played by Billy B. Collins who is listed as “ High School Coach .”
The staff member seems to think Madison had come down with the flu going around (remember that very first Fear The Walking Dead sneak peek video ?) However, she reassures him she has had her flu shot. Even if Madison has had her flu shot, we know from The Walking Dead that everyone is infected, so regardless of whether or not flu vaccines were involved with the development of the outbreak, the end result is still the same.
Members of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead cast and crew will appear next month at San Diego Comic Con 2015 on Friday, July 10. Fans are anticipating an announcement at Comic Con to the official start date for Fear The Walking Dead beyond the previous announcement of August.
