The second season of Empire will not premiere until late September. However, that is not stopping fans and critics from being overly excited about the return of the hit FOX series.
With the recent release of another sneak preview of the second season, many Empire fans are likely waiting anxiously for September 23 to hurry up and get here.
In the newest trailer, more of the future story lines are revealed – including Andre’s desire to take over Empire in his father’s absence, the brewing beef and battle between Hakeem and Jamal, as well as the incarceration of Lucious Lyon.
Viewers also get to check out Marisa Tomei and Chris Rock – two of the confirmed cameos that will be making an impact on the Empire story & Lyon family business during the second season.
With a little more than a month left until the Empire Season 2 premiere, there are still quite a few unanswered questions – including how Vernon’s death will affect Lucious’ incarceration.
