The Duggar women were transformed by People Magazine for their annual “World’s Most Beautiful” issue. According to USA Today , Jinger, Joy-Anna, Jana, Jill, Jessa, and their mom Michelle, were all glammed up by make-up artists and hair stylists for a series of photos that were taken at their home. The idea was to have all of the girls looking “fresh for spring.”
“They are doing my hair in soft curls, kind of like the way I had it on my wedding day,” explained Michelle. She added that her normal day “beauty routine” was a quick five minutes each morning.
“It’s fun. I mean, girls like to dress up. It’s fun,” said Jessa Seewald.
“It’s definitely kind of uncommon, being all glammed up like this,” said Jinger.
The Duggar women completely transformed for the People photoshoot, but their hair and make-up wasn’t over the top. The women all looked natural, and beautiful — which was the point.
“I don’t really do this very often, so it’s a lot of fun,” said Joy-Anna, calling herself the “most casual” out of the family. According to People Magazine , the Duggar women had two rules when it came to agreeing to get made over. They didn’t want their hair cut (like not even a little bit), and they had to stay “covered up.”
As the site points out, the Duggars are super famous, but they don’t live their lives like typical celebrities. They don’t have make-up artists in their house on a daily basis, and they don’t walk red carpets, or globe trot in the finest French fashion. They are fairly casual overall, and are just living their lives as normally as they can — with television cameras all over the place.
Aside from the Duggar women posing for People Magazine , there has been some other big news in their big (and growing) family. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, just announced that they are expecting their first child together. Speculation that Jessa was pregnant hit an all-time high when a photo of her surfaced last week. The picture clearly depicted a baby bump beneath her fitted shirt.
The couple said that their little one is due on November 1, and they are beyond excited to start a family together. So far, Jessa says that she is feeling okay. She doesn’t have any serious cravings, but she is experiencing some heartburn. [Photo via Video Screen Capture]
