Duchess Kate wore a hoodie, and people are going crazy over her dressed down look. Always so prim and proper, Kate Middleton showed off her laid back side during a visit to the 23rd Poplar Beaver Scout Colony on Tuesday evening. According to USA Today , the Duchess of Cambridge wore a $45 Scout hoodie, which was appropriate for her meeting with the troup. The site questions whether or not the hoodie will sell out as other Kate-ensembles have.

Hoodie aside, Kate spent time helping the scouts earn their Disability Awareness Award badges.
“At one point she put on a big red boxing glove to handle a fork. At another she helped a scout who was blindfolded,” reports USA Today .

Duchess Kate’s hoodie may now be the talk of the town, but her meeting with the scouts was so much more important. She has been involved with the organization since 2012, and she takes great pride in her work with with the kids. According to Yahoo! News , Kate handed the scouts their badges at the end of the night, and participated in reciting the Boy Scout oath in sign language.
“Then Kate joined all the Beavers in using sign language to say the Scout’s Promise – ‘I promise to do my best, to be kind and helpful and to love my world’ – before singing along to their farewell song ‘Goodnight Beavers.’”
On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge traded in her hoodie for a red dress, which she wore to the annual pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kate attended the event with her husband, Prince William, her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, and her son, Prince George. Several other royals were also in attendance.
It has also been reported that William and Kate will be hosting Christmas dinner this year.
“Will and Kate will host the annual Christmas dinner at their recently remodeled estate in Norfolk. The event is expected to be held in tandem with a housewarming party at Amner Hall, which recently was renovated under Kate’s direction.”
Naturally Duchess Kate won’t be wearing a hoodie to that event, but all eyes will be on her style, especially because she is pregnant. People love the Duchess’ fashion choices, and her pregnancy style is always spot on.
