We’ve all dropped or broken our phones in ridiculous ways. But it’s probably safe to guess that no one reading this has ever had theirs returned by a dolphin rising through the ocean. That’s exactly what happened to Teressa Cee though, and the video of the incident is simply breathtaking.

Teressa Cee, who works as a cheerleader for the Miami Heat among a plethora of other professions, has been peppering her Instagram account with photos and videos from her trip to the Bahamas. But among the images of her resort, her working on a photo shoot, and her cozying up to a dolphin, was the spectacular video.

The video was taken just after Teressa Cee’s phone had been dropped into the Atlantic Ocean by her friend. You can check out the video, which originated over on Instagram , below.

No one believed me when I said my phone was dropped into the ocean and a dolphin brought it back to me pic.twitter.com/KAj96VSL8G

Cee also decided to upload the post to Facebook , where it has since received over 47,000 likes and been shared over 21,000 times.

Meanwhile, on both Facebook and Instagram, Cee also added the following caption to describe the scenario. Cee wrote,

“True Story: While in the Bahamas, I had the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins on #BlueLagoonIsland. We were filming on this floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

So, against my better judgement I asked someone to hold my phone for me and he accidentally dropped my phone into water and it sank to the bottom.

Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me. Cutest thing ever! #Unbelievable #Bahamas #DolphinEncounter.”

In the video, Teressa Cee is clearly completely flabbergasted by the fact that the dolphin not only saw down to the bottom of the ocean and was able to find her mobile phone, but she was as equally astounded that it then picked up the phone with its mouth, and knew to swim back up and return it to her.

However, despite witnessing this hugely impressive and intelligent act, Cee still knew that the dolphin’s actions were ultimately futile. In fact, immediately after getting her phone back from the ocean floor, she told the dolphin trainer that had guided it down to the seabed, “That’s so cute! Thanks, it’s never going to work again, but thanks.”

After watching the video, a myriad of users took to Teressa Cee’s Facebook, which has over 40,000 likes and describes Cee as a “NBA Miami HEAT Dancer/FIU Alumnae/Promotional Mode/Professional Dancer & Actor,” to ask her various questions about the incident.

Several commenters asked if the iPhone worked after it was retrieved from the water, while another simply wrote, “I watched this more than five times. Adorable.” Another viewer of the clip then wrote, “Dolphins are such awesome creatures.”

Further comments included, “That made my morning that is so cute. We can learn a thing or two from Cacique,” while another insisted, “Forget a god for a pet I want one of those,” and a user declared, “Aahhh. This melts my heart. I really love dolphins.” But most people just commented on how cute and adorable the entire situation was.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t all bad for Teressa Cee during her endeavors in the Bahamas, as the cheerleader also shared an image of her cuddling up to another dolphin, which in return planted a kiss on her cheek.

She uploaded the above image with the caption, “Don’t be afraid to give yourself everything you’ve ever wanted in life. #anothercheckoffthebucketlist #DolphinEncounter #BlueLagoonIsland #Bahamas.”

It’s not known if she forgave the friend that originally dropped the phone in the ocean.
