Dish Network customers will soon be able to stream ‘several cable networks’ when the satellite provider launches DishOnline.com later this week.
The new online digital streaming option will begin with at least 15 channels, including major networks that include Syfy and Comedy Central.
Dish customers will also be able to schedule remote DVR sessions, while SlingLoaded customers can stream recorded content from their satellite boxes to their devices. That last option has always been available but has been nicely packaged into the new site.
No exact release date for the site, but according to the New York Times it will be made available in the next few days.
