Jenelle Evans and her mother, Barbara, have often been seen feuding on Teen Mom 2 . However, on Mother’s Day, the Teen Mom 2 star put their differences aside and shared a heartwarming message with fans. Unfortunately, the message, shared on May 10, wasn’t completely diss-free.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommys out there, especially my one and only Babs! My mom and myself have our ups and downs I kno she will always be there for me if I ever needed her, no matter how upset she is with me.”
While the first half of Jenelle Evans’ Mother’s Day message was sweet, the Teen Mom 2 star then spotlighted her mother’s weak point, which reportedly is her lack of ability to show love to her daughter.
“I kno she loves me very much but has a hard way of showing it, and I realize that’s why she’s always so hard on me… She ultimately only wants me doing better in life and tries to help me along the way. Love u mom!!”
Jenelle Evans and her mom have been bickering on MTV since fans first met them on 16 & Pregnant Season 2. At the time, Barbara was disappointed in her daughter for having a child at a young age, and in the months after, their relationship took an odd turn when Barbara gained full custody of Jenelle Evans’ son. While the arrangement was supposed to be temporary, Jace is now 5-years-old, and nothing has changed.
What has changed is the men in Jenelle Evans’ life. Although her initial plan after giving birth to her first son was to get an education and gain stability, she instead focused on the men in her life, which have included Kieffer Delp, Gary Head, Courtland Rogers, and, most recently, Nathan Griffith, with whom she has another child.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jenelle Evans’ latest relationship with Griffith came to an end in early March after a year-and-a-half of dating. Weeks later, according to Radar Online , Jenelle Evans is already searching for someone new .
“She’s been saying she’s going to start seeing other people and going on dates but takes things slowly. [Her] standards are so high now. Jenelle only wants to date someone that’s graduated with a degree and no drugs and good family man. But she’s not rushing because she’s focusing on family, her externship, and graduation In July.”
Jenelle Evans returns to Teen Mom 2 for Season 6 on July 9 at 10 p.m.
