She wrote the letter two days after the royal wedding, giving insights into her days as a royal after getting married to the future king. There are over 300 pieces in the auction that are set up to become the highest bidders. These items were a part of Princess Diana’s everyday life. The auction will start on June 26. It will be held at the Peninsula Beverly Hills.
What makes this letter precious is that it’s handwritten and signed by Princess Diana. People love to own such pieces as they are so personal and insightful. The letter dates back to July 31, 1981. The same year, she got married in a huge royal wedding.

The letter talks about her early days and how she was learning the ways of royals and preparing to be the future queen one day. She was learning to curtsy from the Queen mother and Queen. In her letter, she tells she felt lonely; however, connecting with Mark was fun. She thanked him for showing kindness.
She has thanked him for his patience ever since she moved to the palace. She talks about their shared laughter and hopes he is enjoying his Wednesday.
The wording of the letter is hopeful and kind even when she is feeling lonely. She also asks him about her dress and if he likes it. Besides, she talks about the mundane stuff, how she hasn’t had any cereal yet and she’s going to Britainia. She misses her bowls of cereal and finds it hard to cope without them. The letter ends with a smiley face, and he is thanked again.
This shows how kind and friendly she was. However, it also points out how being a royal comes with restrictions and responsibilities–not much fun in the beginning.
