Pop songstress Demi Lovato, 22, spoke to ET before taking the stage at the Vevo Certified SuperFanFest in Los Angeles. The topic of her discussion… boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, 34.
“Wilmer is one of the most incredible people on the planet,” Devato gushed to ET correspondent Lance Bass.
According to J-14 , Lovato says Valderrama is a big part of the reason that she has remained good friends with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. Jonas and Devato met in 2007 during the making of the first Camp Rock movie. Their roller-coaster relationship ended very publicly in 2010.
Valderrama is the one who suggested to Lovato that she team up with Jonas for a Camp Rock reunion duet with Jonas last month at her Los Angeles concert.
Valderrama accompanied Lovato to the Vevo Certified SuperFanFest. The concert was sponsored by Honda. The concert also featured Iggy Azalea, the singer most famous for her hit “Fancy” and workings with Ariana Grande.
While backstage, Lovato and Valderrama posed for photos with her long time friend and collaborator, Blink-182’s Travis Barker.
At the SuperFanFest, Lovato debuted an edgy new hairstyle. Sporting a short bob-style cut that included a shaved side with teal-blue ends, Lovato told ET that her new “punk-rock ‘do” was a whim. She’d decided on her new style the night before. She called it an “impulsive’ decision.”
Valderrama is an actor, singer and dancer known for his portrayal of Fez on That 70’s Show . He briefly appeared in Lavato’s music video “Really Don’t Care” that was released back in June. The couple has been together since 2010, but they work hard to keep their private relationship out of the spotlight.
Back in September, fans got a rare glimpse into the lives of the celebrity couple when Lovato posted an Instagram photo of the couple napping in a furniture store. The couple had an hour to kill before a movie started, so they napped in a display bed at a furniture store. The photo went viral.
Valderrama spoke publicly about the couples relationship when he wished Lovato a Happy Birthday on Instagram.
“Wishing you happy birthday would never come close to all the inspiring things I wish for your life. We laugh our asses off. While we do all we can to better everything around us. Love you through all,” Valderrama wrote.
