Demi Lovato has been confirmed to appear on Nck Jonas’s new album. Several months ago, Nick Jonas was Demi Lovato’s musical and creative director for her Neon Light Tour .
“We did one for my record,” Nick Jonas told E! News . “It’s a great song that we both love. Her voice is just amazing on it. She’s the real deal. It’s the perfect fit for this record.”
3 weeks ago Demi Lovato also posted an Instagram photo was the caption “Recorded a KILLER duet today…. Can you guess who it was with???” Now we know that the duet was most likely with Nick Jonas for his new album. You can view the Instagram photo below:
Nick Jonas is Demi’s ex-boyfriend, so it was very surprising for fans when he performed at Demi’s opening night for her Neon Light Tour .
It seems like the two have put any conflict they’ve had behind them. Nick Jonas told MTV News that Demi Lovato and him have five other songs planned as well. One of the songs they they’ve done together, called Avalanche, is going to be on Nick’s upcoming album.
Nick tells MTV News while talking about Demi Lovato’s relationship with him that:
She and I recorded a song that, um, I think is beautiful. It’s not necessarily a love song. It’s so easy to do a duet that’s a love song because our relationship isn’t really that. But there is love there for a friend, you know, and it’s beautiful to just talk about. Any kind of relationship can hit a point where if it’s not stable, it’s not secure then it’s like an avalanche crashing down and that’s what that song is about. Her voice is amazing on it and, um, it feels good. I’m excited for people to hear it.
Demi Lovato also revealed to MTV News that Nick and her are making their own small band as a side project. Nick continues to talk about why their relationship is so great saying, “The great thing about our relationship is that we’re both pretty much gung-ho to do anything creatively together at any point in time. So if she was like, ‘Hey, let’s go make that album,’ I’d be like, ‘All right, cool,’ because I’m confident that it’s going to be fun and we’re going to have a good time making it. And it’ll probably end up sounding cool.”
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas seem to have a great professional relationship and everyone is excited for their new collaboration to come out.
