Things are quite chaotic this fall for Salem residents on Days of Our Lives . Spoilers tease that things are only going to get more and more wild, and fans can’t wait to see what comes next. It’s already been revealed that Thaao Penghlis is returning in the role of Andre DiMera, and there’s a lot to come this week on that front. What DOOL spoilers can Penghlis share about his return?
Thaao Penghlis talked with TV Insider about his Days of Our Lives return. Though the character of Andre DiMera was supposedly killed off several years back, that doesn’t always mean much in the soap world.
Fans will remember that Andre supposedly killed himself in 2007 by turning off his life support as a way to frame someone else for the deed. While viewers will have to wait and see just how DiMera escaped death, Penghlis makes it clear he’s back to shake things up in a significant way.
Andre DiMera’s big return takes place on Friday’s episode. Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that he’ll come back due to Stefano’s health crisis, and he’s going to make quite the splash in letting all of Salem know he’s still alive. Not only is Andre back, it turns out viewers will learn that he’s Stefano’s son, not his nephew.
It seems that when Andre initially returns, Stefano will insist he stay hidden for a couple of weeks. However, there’s no way Andre can put up with that for long. Penghlis’ Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that he’ll head to a memorial service for one of Salem’s newly departed and shake everybody up with his appearance.
The actor has teased via Twitter that Andre will see blood, and there will be tears in the episodes involving Andre ahead. The tweet teasing the blood and tears seemingly references filming in early September, which could mean good news for DOOL fans who want him to stick around. The show tapes quite far in advance, so if Penghlis is debuting on-air this week and currently on the set filming, it would seem that Andre’s got big plans for a lengthy Salem return.
How is Andre DiMera involved in the chaos currently playing out throughout Salem?
