Danielle Stislicki disappeared two weeks ago and no one has heard from her since. A friend of the MetLife employee said she’s concerned Danielle’s outgoing nature may have played a part in a possible abduction.
Jessica Hunter-Shively is a high school friend of Danielle’s and told People she is someone who does not have a “bad bone in her body,” noting the Farmington Hills, Michigan woman is a friendly “people person.”

Danielle, 28, went missing sometime in the late afternoon of December 2 , after leaving her job at MetLife in Southfield, according to CBS News . That same day, Danielle was scheduled to make a stop at her residence and then meet with a female childhood friend for dinner.
She did not show up for the planned meeting and failed to show up to work on Saturday, the following morning. Later that day, local law enforcement announced that Danielle’s vehicle was found just outside the Independence Green apartments where she lives. CBS News reports that inside Danielle’s locked Jeep Renegade was her purse, her identification, and her credit cards.
Jessica discounted the notion Danielle may have gone off on her own, saying, “Even if she were to just run away, why would she leave all of her stuff behind?” according to People .
Danielle’s keys and cell phone have yet to be located. Authorities announced her key ring contains a unique key charm consisting of “a smiling yellow figure with a green body and yellow legs,” CBS News reports. Danielle’s cell phone is a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime in a pink case.
At a news conference last week, Danielle’s mother, Ann Stislicki, expressed concerns that her daughter had been abducted because she’s extremely dependable and would never voluntarily leave without contacting someone to inform them of her whereabouts.
Danielle’s father told the Huffington Post that abduction is the only explanation for what has happened to his daughter. Rick Stislicki said Danielle is “responsible and conscientious” and she “has lots of plans,” such as aiding her grandmother with Christmas decorations, “so it makes the most sense that whatever happened was against her will .”
Rich added that there is no good outcome in such a scenario, noting, “If she’s alive… she’ll be traumatized after this.” He emphasized his family would rather face that situation rather than “not having her at all…” Rich added, “We already know that there is going to be sadness, no matter which way it turns out,” the Huffington Post reports.

Danielle’s cousin, Holly Juip, spoke with People , saying she fears that if someone had been in the parking lot of Danielle’s apartment complex when she arrived home and asked her for help, she “would have gotten out of her car… she would have been that outgoing person who would give someone directions or help someone find a lost pet.” Holly described the situation as “heartbreaking” and she cannot imagine what Danielle’s parents must be feeling right now.
Close friend Jessica said it makes her “nervous” that Danielle is “not a fighter,” and told People her heart is “shattered” over the disappearance. She added, “I hope she wasn’t too outgoing and someone snatched her up.”
Danielle is described as being around 5-foot-5-inches tall, and weighing about 123 pounds. She has brown wavy medium-length hair and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, a blue Eddie Bauer jacket, and burgundy-colored boots when she vanished.
At press, a Go Fund Me campaign offering a reward for information that will lead to Danielle had surpassed its $25,000 goal and was at $25,925. Danielle’s employer, MetLife is offering a $50,000 reward, and the Independence Green apartment complex where Danielle lives is offering another $50,000, making the current reward almost $126,000.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have spotted Danielle or her Jeep between 5 p.m. on Friday, December 2, and 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 3 when her vehicle was found, CBS News reports. Danielle’s vehicle is a dark gray 2015 Jeep Renegade with Michigan License Plate DGH 8957.
