Crytek has built up a bit of a reputation for making beautiful PC games that require top-end hardware to run on the highest settings, and that isn’t set to change much with Crysis 3 .
Over the weekend, Crytek revealed what sort of hardware your PC will need to be packing in order to play Crysis 3 . And, as suggested, playing Crysis 3 on its highest setting is going to require a fairly modern PC.
The absolute bare minimum requirements asks for a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GTS 450-equivalent graphics card.
As for the recommended requirements, you’ll need at least a quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and a Nvidia GTX 560-equivalent graphics card.
While those are the recommended requirements, you’ll need even more than that if you hope to play the game maxed out. For Intel/Nvidia users, Crytek says you’ll be needing a Intel Core i7-2600k, a NVidia GTX 680 or greater, and 8GB of RAM.
