Courtney Robertson is a woman you may recall for her win of The Bachelor ‘s Season 16, but the reality show villainess has a bit more to say on the matter.

Among those looking for love on the small screen, Courtney Robertson eventually edged out the competition to become the winner of the show’s sixteenth season. And she plans to tell all in a “memoir” about her time in reality TV land, explaining to Us Weekly that she is trying not to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Robertson says that the show was a unique opportunity to meet the possible man of her dreams as well as launch her career as a model — but things didn’t go exactly as she’d hoped.

According to Courtney, the initial boost in notability wound up fizzling her career, and the catfighting took a toll on her mental health.

In addition to the stress of fighting her way to the top, Court says that her relationship with the show’s star Ben tanked as well, and was a source of stress for the full near-year the pair were together.

She dished :

“Going on The Bachelor was the most amazing opportunity I’ve ever had, but I did not have a fairy tale ending! The girls hated me, my modeling career was destroyed and Ben and I had a tumultuous 11-month relationship that ultimately imploded. There are two sides to every story.”

Courtney Robertson’s memoir will be titled I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain and her appearance on the show — in which she was often labeled a bully and meanie for referring to fellow contestants as “fatty” and “horsey” — will be part of the book.

She says that she was misrepresented, in a sense, adding:

“I wanted a chance to talk about what went down from my perspective, because I think there are a lot of misconceptions out there about me.”

Robertson called penning the memoir a “very cathartic” learning experience, and says the resultant book is “totally juicy and hilarious.”

Courtney Robertson’s book I Didn’t Come Here to Make Friends: Confessions of a Reality Show Villain doesn’t yet have a release date.
