A couple welcomed a baby boy when they thought they were having a baby girl, and a video of their expressions when they found out has gone viral. According to ABC News , the Michigan couple were told that they were expecting a girl, so when they welcomed a boy , you can imagine the surprise on their faces! Perhaps the best part, though, was the surprise on the faces of their family members who went to meet their new “grandson,” “nephew,” “boy cousin.”
“I had been up for 24 hours and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me,” said the child’s father, Kyle Williams. They all had a pretty great laugh about it, and are happy to have a healthy baby above all else.
The couple are thrilled to have a baby boy, but admit that they were quite surprised by the news. Perhaps the best part of the viral video (which has been viewed over 1.2 million times), is the child’s grandmother, who simply can’t believe the news. According to Sport Act , the family simply knew that they had to catch these reactions on video — so that’s just what they planned!
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the couple is definitely getting something positive out of this internet fame. They have talked about their other daughter Peyton’s condition which is called Diamond-Blackfan Anemia. The family has a non-profit foundation to help raise money and awareness about the rare blood disorder.
