Corey Simms is currently filming the sixth season of Teen Mom 2 .
Although the series’ new installment has yet to be confirmed by MTV, Simms and the rest of the cast have been seen in a number of photos with members of the network’s film crew. In the latest photo shared online, Simms is seen with his father, Jeff, and four staff members.
According to a February 3 report by Wetpaint Entertainment , Jeff recently shared the photo with fans on Twitter. In his tweet , Jeff tagged the father of Teen Mom 2 ‘s Chelsea Houska, joking that he and Simms had taken their crew hostage.
“Hey @PapaRandlicious and @ChelseaHouska we stole your crew! Now what?”
In response, Randy Houska wrote, “How much is ransom?”
“In the snapshot, Corey and Jeff are cheesing with four crew members, which is apparently how many people it takes to film. No word yet as to whether these cameramen are actually from MTV or if the show’s sixth season will actually happen (MTV has yet to confirm).”
Corey Simms has been seen on Teen Mom 2 since it began airing in 2010. He also appeared on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant with his ex-wife, Leah Messer, who welcomed their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, in 2009.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Corey Simms and Leah Messer aren’t on the best terms. In December, amid allegations of cheating, Messer took to Facebook, where she claimed Simms and his new wife, Miranda, were pretending to be perfect .
“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say, [sic]” Messer wrote in the post.
She then went on to claim she and her husband, Jeremy Calvert, were “in love,” despite his tweets about her cheating on him with Robbie Kidd, who she also cheated on Simms with years ago.
“Marriage is far from perfect but my husband and I are very much in love with each other and still remain married and that doesn’t plan to change.”
Corey Simms and the rest of the cast of Teen Mom 2 will return to MTV for Season 6 later this year. The network has yet to announce the series’ official renewal.
