Christina Aguilera’s daughter, Summer Rain, celebrated her birthday and her mother was proud to show off her one-year-old, blue-eyed baby on Instagram.
On Sunday, Christina Aguilera posted a picture of Summer wearing a pink dress and holding a pink balloon. The caption read, “Happy 1 st Birthday! My Sweet, Summer Rain.”

Summer Rain is Christina’s daughter with fiancé Matthew Rutler. Dad also shared an Instagram image with him carrying their cute daughter with the caption, “You light up life. Happy First Birthday, Summer.”

Rutler, who is a first time father, also shared a video of Summer Rain a month ago wherein they make and throw Summer’s message in a bottle into the ocean.

Christina Aguilera’s daughter, Summer Rain, is her second child. She also has a son, Max Liron, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Jordan Bratman. Aguilera married Bratman in 2005 and they divorced in 2011.
In a previous interview with People , Christina Aguilera talked about being a mother and how happy she is having children and spending time with them.
“It’s the little things that are so amazing as a mom and just make me so happy and proud to be the mother of two beautiful, amazing, incredibly talented, lovely children. I’m so happy.”
As for the story behind Aguilera’s daughter’s name , an insider revealed to E Online that Christina loves the summer.
“Christina wanted something different and unique for the baby’s name. She loves how Summer Rain Rutler flows together and thinks summer is an amazing time of the year. She has always been a more expressive person and a little bohemian who is inspired by words and daily life.”
Christina Aguilera is enjoying family life, and it shows. In an event at Apollo in the Hamptons on Saturday, Christina took the stage for a charity event and sang some of her hits including, “Ain’t No Other Man” and “Lady Marmalade.” She also sang Etta James’ “At Last,” but not before giving a shoutout to her family.
“This is a special weekend, it’s my daughter’s first birthday. We’re going to celebrate today as a family and have a little party later in the month. She’s so beautiful.”
